Best answer: well...to be honest burnout 3: takedown is the first burnout game i remember existing..i've never heard of burnout 1 or 2 so the features in takedown are just the simple base game features to me. but in revenge there is a new move you can do that gives the game it's name.. Takedown. revenge was alright though. paradise sucks in my opinion because i hate open worlds in racing games - especially in burnout i want to drive fast on linear tracks winding through beautiful landscapes - not through cities with lots of crossroads that constantly ruin the flow of the game and such..
Burnout 3 takedown was awesome too of course. i didn't think i would care for the traffic checking in revenge but after playing it a while it was actually quite fun to punt cars out of the way. For playstation 2 on the playstation 2, a gamefaqs message board topic titled "burnout takedown vs revenge"..
